This button is here just for looksSean is a Governor General Award nominated writer. In 2019, his award-winning play, THE FIGHTING SEASON, was optioned and adapted into a television series. Prior to beginning his work film, Sean founded and was the Co-Artistic Director of Hardline Productions Theatre Company (2010-2019). In his role as Co-AD, he helped to create, develop, and produce film and theatre throughout Canada. Under his stewardship, Hardline Productions was nominated for 17 Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards. Sean c urrently lives in Los Angeles and is represented by Elevate Entertainment, where he works to create and develop scripted narratives for both film and TV.
Markian appeared in over 40 film and television projects; most notably There’s Someone Inside Your House (Netflix), Surface (Apple TV), Virgin River (Netflix), Why Can't My Life Be a Rom-Com (E!), and Christmas Jars (BYU). For his work on screen, he has been nominated for Canadian Screen and UBCP/ACTRA Awards. Markian was a founder of SpeakEasy Theatre (Vancouver) and served as its producer for its six-year history (2015-2021). SpeakEasy’s productions garnered critical acclaim and multiple Jessie Richardson Awards. Markian is also the founder of The Art Left Creative Group - a company that specializes in performing arts marketing and brand consultation.
Lucy McNulty is a Canadian filmmaker whose notable achievements include winning Jury’s Choice and the DEAI Award for Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion at the Thomas Edison Film Festival for her directorial debut “Chicken” which has screened internationally in Canada, the United States, Australia and Europe. Chicken has gained attention from nationally recognized non-profits including the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation and the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. It has been featured on 3.21: Canada’s Down Syndrome Magazine, The LowDOWN: A Down Syndrome Podcast, Burnaby NOW, as well as AMI’s Season 2 of DisRUPT. Lucy runs Strange Company Productions.
Matt Villeneuve is a Metis-Canadian producer. He is a 15-year veteran of the entertainment industry, stemming from Video games, Television, and Feature Films. His career started at Bioware a Triple-A game company that has published critically acclaimed games such as; Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age 2, and Mass Effect 3. At Bioware Matt was part of the marketing team that helped create a worldwide audience for the IP’s. Since then, he has worked on over 150 Episodes of television and a range of feature films, notably, Supergirl, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, Before I Fall, Spread, and What Comes Next with Mena Suvari. He is currently Producing indie features across Vancouver and the lower mainland with three films to be released in 2024.
